Lane Preparedness Coalition has an opportunity to join, volunteer and input on their - ECONOMY AND RECOVERY FINANCE PROJECT TEAM - Sobering statistics from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration indicate that 40% of businesses affected by a major disaster never reopen. 25% of businesses will fail within one year and 90% will fail after two years. The goal of the economy and recovery finance project team is to publish a plan to develop infrastructure to support business continuity for Lane County businesses after a disaster. The plan will be released to the public at the LPC Business Continuity Workshop August 9, 2017. Learn more about the project scope timeline.
